Frank arrived on time with his assistant and went right to work meticulously isolating the area in the kitchen by protecting the floors and walls around the project from dust and debris. He then proceeded to repair the ceiling with strapping and drywall and two layers of skim coat. It was even, smooth and flush with the rest of the ceiling. When he was finished he removed his drop cloths and swept and mopped all the area around the project. He's fast, efficient, experienced, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and friendly. If you're like me and are scared every time a workman of any kind comes into your home for fear of what might go wrong, don't be. He's your man!

This is the third job I had for Boston Plastering and once again I was very happy with the results. Easy communications, easy and timely estimate, excellent quality work and clean up. My quote was for skim coating the walls and ceiling of a small bath and repairing cracks on a 100 year old wall that needed a knock down finish. Like others have said here, Frank goes beyond expectations. As Frank and his guys were fixing the wall they found more cracks and repaired them too. They worked around my insane schedule and my electrician's availability and did a masterful job with their craft. Recently, we decided to change our bedroom designs and needed a plasterer to complete the project. After calling eighteen firms over several days, I received a total of five responses over the next four days. Frank and two other firms were immediate with one other firm from Boston who said he would do it if no one else would. Two days after the first conversation, Frank was at my house giving quote. Since there were many small things needing to be done, he supplied a quote that was 6% below his minimum pricing. The date was set for 7:30 am that coming Thursday. At 7:32 am he arrived with his support. The first step was to lay down protective materials over the hardwood floors and seal off all areas not involved in the project. Three hours later, the job was done to expectation with little or no cleanup for me to do. This was very different than the two prior plastering jobs done.
