Recently, we decided to change our bedroom designs and needed a plasterer to complete the project. After calling eighteen firms over several days, I received a total of five responses over the next four days. Frank and two other firms were immediate with one other firm from Boston who said he would do it if no one else would. Two days after the first conversation, Frank was at my house giving quote. Since there were many small things needing to be done, he supplied a quote that was 6% below his minimum pricing. The date was set for 7:30 am that coming Thursday. At 7:32 am he arrived with his support. The first step was to lay down protective materials over the hardwood floors and seal off all areas not involved in the project. Three hours later, the job was done to expectation with little or no cleanup for me to do. This was very different than the two prior plastering jobs done.

It all started when a portion of our ceiling fell down in the dining room. We called Boston Plastering. Frank came and looked at the damage and said he could help us. He repaired the dining room ceiling and after inspecting the other rooms he replaced ceilings in the kitchen, living room, and 2 hallways with blue board. He also assisted us in finding painters to remove wallpaper and paint the entire apartment as he had good contacts. He was the project manager for the painting job. We hired Frank to fix the walls in our kitchen after removing everything in the room. The cabinets and fake brick facade that were there hid a lot of damaged plaster and the entire bottom half of the kitchen walls was wall-less. Frank came and hung drywall over the wall-less areas and then plastered over it all. It was as if we had completely new walls. He also evened out the area where an addition was added to the house. Previously, there was an unsightly hump where the old wall of the house was and the family room began. Now, it is so flat, you would never know from the walls that there had ever been a join there. Plus, he was punctual, tidy, and responded to all our calls and questions. If you want amazingly smooth and great looking plaster walls, hire Frank. You will not be disappointed!
